Special coloring treatment using salt baths - Adding design and aesthetic qualities to steel materials.
Adding a unique texture to stainless steel, making it possible to utilize as a new building material and resource. Adopted for space design in facilities and hotels!
At Meinetsu, we have traditionally utilized salt baths to perform heat treatments that enhance the functionality of steel materials. By researching and applying this technology in-house, we have succeeded in creating unique color expressions. This technique utilizes the oxide film formed by heat treatment on stainless steel, and since each piece is done by hand, the products feature distinctive patterns with a mix of various colors. Due to the manual coloring process, there is a high degree of freedom in shape and application, making it suitable for a variety of uses. The different colors can also be enhanced based on the thickness of the plate. <Usage Scenarios> Interior wall materials, decorative items, building materials, ceilings, commercial interiors, fasteners, hardware, lighting, residential interiors, indoor decorative materials, wall coverings, art pieces, etc. <Examples of Adoption | Case Images> ◆ As interior wall decoration for a restaurant (café) → Vintage-style coloring treatment was applied to create an atmosphere that matches the store's ambiance. ◆ As interior wall decoration for a hotel reception → The finish features a distinctive quality where the blue hue changes depending on the angle of light. *Approximately 200 plates of size 400×120 were used *SUS304: oboro (hazy) *Free samples are available!
